Database Temporarily Down

While we are excited to announce that iAnesthesia will soon release Version 2.0 of Case Logs. This long awaited and much anticipated software will significantly improve the user experience. It was definitely worth the wait!

However in the process of upgrading the system, our database has needed significant remodeling requiring iAnesthesia to turn off the database. We are proceeding to update the system as quickly as possible!

We are excited to announce that iAnesthesia: Case Logs version 1.1 adds full syncing capabilities with the CaseLog Database! The update to the iPhone application is FREE and is available for download from the iTunes App Store.

iAnesthesia now provides the ability to enter cases on-the-fly using your iPhone or through a web-based application as part of the CaseLog Database. Users will benefit from this added convenience of case entry. And best of all, the two systems are seamlessly integrated! So changes made on the CaseLog Database will be reflected on the iPhone and vice versa.

The CaseLog Database also offer user’s full searching and filtering capability. Anesthesia providers will easily be able to find past cases in their log history. The filter is very impressive and allows organization by type of nerve block, airway, anesthetic technique, monitoring, surgical service, region, situation, or ASA class. Organize and view your cases to find the information you need quickly and easily with the CaseLog Database!

iAnesthesia: Case Logs has released a new version today!

Version 1.1 is now available for download from the iTunes App Store.

The new CaseLog Database syncing feature allows the iPhone to transmit cases as they are saved to the database. iAnesthesia offers CaseLog Database users free membership to sync cases. Anesthesia providers will benefit from data back-up and security thereby protecting them from the unfortunate lost or broken iPhone experience. In such situations, the user’s logbook is safe on the CaseLog Database server and they will still be able to enter cases directly using the web application. Once a replacement iPhone or iPod Touch is available, simply sign into your account and your log history and totals will by synced back down to the phone!

iAnesthesia offers unprecedented data storage, back-up and security which no other program offers.

iPhone and iPod Touch users of the iAnesthesia: Case Logs application will soon benefit from the CaseLog Database. This database will help users back-up and securely store their logbook data on the iPhone. It will even allow users the ability to print professional reports which they can customize to display anything of interest.

Our planned roll out of this new innovative integration is by November 12th if not earlier. Check back soon to gain full functionality of iAnesthesia Case Logs.

If you don’t own an iPhone or iPod Touch, don’t worry! You can still benefit from all the features offered at CaseLogs.org! We offer the ability to track case logs from a convenient website application. ASA National Convention Begins!

Today marks the beginning of the 2008 American Society of Anesthesiologist (ASA) National Convention. This year the convention is in Orlando, Florida.

Dr. Trask will be at the convention representing iAnesthesia LLC and will be demonstrating the iAnesthesia: Case Logs iPhone application.

Beta testing officially ended today, as iAnesthesia: Case Logs iPhone application was deemed ready for distribution. The program has been submitted to Apple to obtain final approval for posting on the iTunes App Store. The approval process typically takes between 1-3 weeks. The timing might work out perfectly for this Application to debut during the American Society of Anesthesiologist (ASA) National Convention.

We will keep you informed of when iAnesthesia: Case Logs is available for download from iTunes.

It is inevitable, but some people will unfortunately lose or break their iPhone or iPod Touch. While we wish no one would have to endure this experience, we do know how to help anesthesia providers protect their case logs!

No other Logbook offer this level of convience, reliability or security!

Untilizing the CaseLog Database, users are able to sync their logbook. The website and the iPhone will automatically update each other. Thus if you lose or break your phone, simply continue using the web-based application to enter new cases until your replacement iPhone arrives.

With your new iPhone, all you need to do is sign into your CaseLog Database account from the iAnesthesia iPhone App “Sync” page. Just click sync and you will never miss a beat of recording case logs!

We strongly encourage all users of iAnesthesia: CaseLogs to enable the password protection standard on your iPhone. If this feature is enabled your Caselogs will be safe.

All cases on you iphone are automatically backed up to the CaseLogs database. As long as you regularly sync your iphone to the CaseLogs Database, your cases will be secure.

With the release of of the CaseLog Database users now how have the ability to sync the iAnesthesia iPhone App to the CaseLog Database.

To sync your iPhone to the CaseLog Database you must first create a database ID and password online at www.CaseLogs.org. Best of all, we offer free membership to the CaseLog Database.

Once you have created your ID and password simply enter them on the sync page of your iPhone application when prompted and tap the center of the sync button.

Your iPhone will now be linked with the CaseLog Database. As you make changes on the website, they will be updated on your iPhone or iPod Touch and vice versa. The CaseLog Database gives users access to the powerful search and filtering of your logbook. We also help ensure you never lose your case log as our serve performs multiple back-ups for you on a daily basis. The server also employs 256-MB SSL security so no one will gain access to your logbook.

On the “New Case Entry” page, once your case data has been correctly entered, click to the blue “Save” button in the upper right hand corner. If your case has been appropiately saved you will automatically transfered to the “Log History” page. You will be able to see the case you just entered.
